Moments from the 2018 Boston-Cambridge Women's March held Saturday, January 20 at Cambridge Common

On Friday, Jan. 29, Donald Trump issued an executive order temporarily banning citizens from seven majority-Muslim countries - Iran, Iraq, Lybia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen - from entering the United States.

Travelers entering to the U.S. legally - students, visitors and greencard holders - were stopped at airports across the country and abroad.

In response to this decision, people gathered the next day to protest. This is footage from the Boston rally at Copley Square.

On Jan. 21, an estimated 175,000 women, men and children marched in Boston to protest against Donald Trump. People marched in solidarity with communities most affected by the hate, intolerance and acts of violence. People united will never be defeated.
