It wasn’t until after I graduated from high school, then college then worked for a couple years that I started to learn about what it means to be involved in your city as a citizen and residence of your town. I mean, why am I learning about it now and not in middle school? My question being, why aren’t the schools teaching us actually what it takes to make a change in this world? Makes me doubt what they are teaching us; the more reasons to be involved in the school counsel and as city councilors and even be a Mayor if you know and care about your city.

One local Cambridge church is spending 2017 celebrating 90 years of worship and community service.

At 8:30 a.m. every Sunday, a congregation of early risers meets at Pentecostal Tabernacle Church North, 77 Columbia Street, for service. And if you are like me and have a thousand things to do, this early time is perfect and a great way to get an early start to your day. Meanwhile, Pentecostal Tabernacle South begins its worship time at 11:30 a.m. every Sunday at 56 Magazine Street, and is for those who just need more time to catchup on their sleep or just love a large congregation.
