Alternative Facts?

...nah, not really

I was reading an interesting article in the Cambridge Chronicle about the old Harvard Square Theater.

The building is located on Church Street and I walk past it every week on my way to class.

It has always caught my eye because of the beautiful nostalgic murals painted on the building's exterior.

Sayonara Summer

Grab those Last Selfies for the Season

Labor Day...the final frontier before we put away the mementos of summer.

Whether it be a final visit to the beach, back yard BBQs (hint hint), or catching the latest movie blockbuster, Labor Day is sort of the last Hoorah before returning to school or the routine of work.

For many in the Cambridge area (i.e.. students), summer means returning home to catch a breather from university studies.

Hence, the real experience of a Cambridge summer is always missed.

Cambridgeisms

Ah, Cambridge.  Just when we start taking you for granted you surprise us again.

Your gift this time is "Resurgence" a remarkable sculpture created to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Jose Mateo Ballet Theater's 25th Anniversary.  A creation of sculptor David Kasman, "Resurgence" was inspired by Jose Mateo's 1993 ballet "Isle of the Dead."
