Alternative Facts?

...nah, not really

I was reading an interesting article in the Cambridge Chronicle about the old Harvard Square Theater.

The building is located on Church Street and I walk past it every week on my way to class.

It has always caught my eye because of the beautiful nostalgic murals painted on the building's exterior.

The Women Who Built Hollywood

Brattle Theatre starts A Year of Women in Cinema repertory series

Women in Cinema Series

"Beginning in March of 2017, the Brattle is excited to present “A Year of Women in Cinema.” For the following 12 months, each one of our bi-monthly calendars will include at least one repertory series highlighting films by, for, or about women. We kick off this effort with a program of films from the early days of Hollywood that were directed, written, edited, produced, or just plain willed into existence by women."

Boston Rallies to Support Muslims and Immigrants

On Friday, Jan. 29, Donald Trump issued an executive order temporarily banning citizens from seven majority-Muslim countries - Iran, Iraq, Lybia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen - from entering the United States.

Travelers entering to the U.S. legally - students, visitors and greencard holders - were stopped at airports across the country and abroad.

In response to this decision, people gathered the next day to protest. This is footage from the Boston rally at Copley Square.
