Divestment at Lesley U: Fossil Free Lesley

This past Sunday, Lesley students for a Fossil Free Lesley picketed a dinner with the Lesley University Trustees and a visiting accreditation team.  At the same time Harvard students' Heat Week is big news in Cambridge. Bill McKibben and other luminaries will be there. At Lesley University, my alma mater, and where I am currently an adjunct, we are accustomed to being in the shadow of the big HU in the Square. And here is where I would like to introduce some friendly competition.

Strange things are happening in the City of Cambridge April 1, 2015

Here is a roundup of what could pass for news in Cambridge, if proper journalistic standards were applied :

1. At the City Council meeting last Monday, a public comment session was held, and nobody had anything to say. In a Council order passed unanimously, the Council voted to send a letter to Bob LaTremouille requesting that he make frequent appearances to fill the vacuum.
