Peonies for your Thoughts!

Snowmeggedon to Sensational Spring

Snowmeggedon to Sensational Spring

My first winter in Cambridge and we're hit with the storm of biblical proportions.

What's even more ironic is the fact that the eight foot snow fall record was broken...by an inch or two.

Nevertheless we made it through and now you can share a moment in history with me by having an exclusive look at my year in review.

Actually, I haven't been here a whole year yet, but after this winter, it think I have something to talk about..

A GAY MAN WALKS INTO HARRISON, ARKANSAS

(and comes out to the KKK…)

Lawrence Ferrara is a Cambridge based filmmaker, and he has a BeLive show on CCTV called “Whole Health,” which airs at 5 p.m. on the second and fourth Sunday of every month.

While tracking down a story on the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Ferrara unwittingly found himself in one of the most notorious small towns in America - Harrison, Arkansas.

Middle East Downstairs Sign

So you’re a DJ just starting your career in the Cambridge/Boston area. It can be hard to get gigs in the local clubs because there are so many other talented performers around here.

So maybe your first few gigs are at your parents’ party or a friend’s house.

As If It Were Already There

New public art on the Greenway

I know, this isn't in Cambridge. Our stories are supposed to have a Cambridge connection. So why am I writing about a sculpture in Boston by an artist from Brookline that was made in Seattle? Well, I'm in Cambridge and this thing connected with me. I think it's one of the best things to happen in the area this year. It is my latest photographic obsession and I went to the dedication ceremony on Monday May 12, 2015.
