Postcards to Maud at Chandler Gallery through September 7

"Postcards to Maud" is an engaging exhibition and fundraiser for the Maud Morgan Visual Arts Center on Sacramento Street. The premise of the show is that each artist created a 6" by 8" postcard for Maud Morgan, as if they were sending postcards to abstract expressionist and neighborhood resident Maud Morgan (1903-1999).

The range of pieces, submitted by artists from as close as Cambridge and as far as France, display a wide range of styles and media, ranging from a traditional postcard to 3-D fiber art. Stop by the Chandler Gallery through September 7 to enjoy the works and also consider purchasing one or more of these intriguing and beautiful postcards to support the work of Maud Morgan Arts.

The Chandler Gallery is a program under the umbrella of the Agassiz Baldwin Community, a private, non-profit organization that has provided quality programs and services in the Cambridge community for over 40 years. Agassiz Baldwin Community also manages Maud Morgan Arts, a full arts program of classes and workshops for all ages. Maud Morgan Arts works to reflect the diversity of talents of the community, bringing people together to make art, share art, and support visual arts education
