Fifty years ago, on June 12, 1967, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that laws against interracial marriage are unconstitutional.

The City of Cambridge celebrated this momentous ruling with a three-day festival, which included a gathering on the lawn of City Hall on June 12, 2017. Using Facebook Live, CCTV covered the beginning of the program, as well as interviews with Cambridge residents upon whose lives this decision had an impact. Featuring Reverend Irene Monroe, Michael Monestime, Fanshen Cox, and her mother, Trudy!
