Enjoy the first episode of Beyond Boston Season Two. Hosted by DigBoston editor and Boston Institute for Nonprofit Journalism (BINJ) co-founder Chris Faraone and Jason Pramas, BEYOND BOSTON is a monthly regional news magazine spotlighting reporting from Boston, MA area community access centers - including Brookline Interactive Group (BIG) in Brookline, MA, Cambridge Community Television (CCTV) in Cambridge, MA, Malden Access TV (MATV) in Malden, MA, Somerville Media Center (SMC/SCATV) in Somerville, MA, and Watertown Cable Access Corp- in partnership with BINJ. In this episode, we focus on some of the Primary Elections happening in the greater Boston are and Chris Faraone interviews Zayda Ortiz, Member of Indivisible Somerville , a Boston-based organization focused on social change and education. They serve as an incubator for experimental activism called Labs, a resource for civics education, and a training program for new leaders.
